Important Notice
Street Cleaning Schedule and Vehicle Parking Reminder
To maintain clean and safe streets in our community, Mineral County conducts an annual street sweeping to clean up after winter.
In anticipation of the regular cleaning expected to happen soon, Mineral County will give us as much notice as possible, but we want you to be prepared for when the cleaning happens.
The Town will be posting notices that will require your vehicles to be off the streets by 6AM on these scheduled sweeping days. Cars left on the street during sweeping hours may be ticketed and/or towed at the owner’s expense. Date to be determined.
We understand that parking can sometimes be challenging, but your cooperation helps us provide a cleaner environment for everyone and prevents damage to vehicles from the sweeping equipment. In addition, we will work with Mineral County to have the North side of the street cleaned one day and the South side of the street cleaned on another day.
More information can be found at www.AlbertonMontana.com, or call 406-722-3404 Thank you for helping keep the Town of Alberton clean and beautiful!

Summer Soon Arrives
It’s starting to heat up here in Alberton so that means it’s time to talk sprinklers.
If your address is an Even Number you can water your lawn on even days. If your address is an Odd Number (you guessed it) you can water your lawn on odd days.
Sprinkler hours are 7 AM to 10 AM and 6 PM to 10 PM. Please, refrain from watering during the daytime hours of 10 AM to 6 PM.
Your grass only needs between 1 and 1-1/2 inches of water each week in hot weather or a drought. To achieve this, water deeply every other day or give your lawn about 1/3 an inch of water every two or three days to protect the roots.
If you have a pool you wish to fill up just make sure you do that task on your regularly scheduled day.
Help Shape Our Town’s Identity – Logo Design Contest Coming Soon!
We’re excited to announce that the town has received official approval to hold a design contest for our very own town logo! This is a wonderful opportunity for our community to come together and create something that truly represents who we are and the place we call home.
To make this contest a success, we’re looking for an enthusiastic volunteer to take the lead on organizing the effort — from setting guidelines and timelines to coordinating submissions and judging. No special experience is required, just a passion for our community and a willingness to help bring this project to life.
If you’re interested in volunteering, please reach out to the Town Clerk’s office at 607 Railroad Avenue or at info@albertonmontana.com. We’d love to hear from you!
