The Town of Alberton is governed by a Mayor and a Town Council. They meet monthly in a public quorum to manage town operations, which includes a water/treatment plant, community center and memorial park.

Alberton's Community Center was once the town's Milwaukee Railroad Depot.
MEETING VENUE FOR RENT
Alberton's Community Center serves many functions. It houses our Senior Center, which serves nutritious meals at noon on Tuesdays and Thursdays. It also contains our Public Library, and every month our town leaders gather there for an evening Council Meeting. This space is available for community gatherings.

FOOD BANK
Alberton area residents are community minded -- helping others where they can. This includes operating a Food Bank. Open twice a month (see dates open below) and staffed by volunteers, the Alberton Food Bank is on 5th Avenue next to the Frenchtown Rural Fire District Station #8.

The incorporated Town of Alberton is located near the Montana / Idaho border along US Interstate 90 and the Clark Fork River. We're just 30 miles east of Superior (the Mineral County Seat) and 30 miles west of Missoula, western Montana's largest city. Our Town Office is open four days a week: 9 am - 3 pm Monday - Thursday.

ALBERTON WATER / SEWER
The water supply for the Town of Alberton comes from a natural spring. The Town operates a Water & Sewer Treatment plant with a state-licensed operator directed by the Montana Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) Rules of Operation.

Residential use of water (sewer) is metered monthly. Water/Sewer Bills are mailed at the first of each month with several payment methods.

ALBERTON SKATEPARK
Albertonians and visitors enjoy the skatepark, built by Evergreen Skateparkts, at the east end of our Hank Roat Memorial Park. Surrounded by trees with a picnic table and garbage can, the skatepark is the brainchild of The PEAK (Promoting Excellence in Alberton-area Kids) Foundation.  Public Bathrooms in the Park are open from May to October.
PLEASE BE CONSIDERATE. Use of skatepark is limited to daylight hours. Keep noise to a minimum.

Donations are accepted on days the Food Bank is open.
