Water is metered at each residence and meters read monthly. Rates are based on useage. The Town's water/sewer base rate is $47.41 per month. Bills are sent out on the last working day of the month. Payments are accepted at the Town Office, its drop box or by mail. We accept cash, checks, money orders or credit cards. Credit cards are accepted in the office, by phone, or on the website. There is a 3% surcharge to pay with a credit card.
SCHOOL & LIBRARY INFO The Alberton School District offers certified Kindergarten through 12th Grade instruction. The Elementary School is in a historic building - marked on the Register of Historic Places. The High School was built in 1968.
