UTILITIES INFO

Water and Sewer Service is available through the Town of Alberton. To have the account transferred into your name use the Transfer Application. Water is metered at each residence and meters read monthly; rates are based on useage. The Town's water/sewer base rate is $47.41 per month. 

Bills are sent out around the 25th of each month. Payments are accepted at the Town Office, front door drop box, mail, phone or online at Paygov.us. We accept cash, checks, money orders or credit cards.There is a 3% surcharge to pay with a credit card.
SCHOOL & LIBRARY INFO

The Alberton School District offers certified Kindergarten through 12th Grade instruction. The Elementary School is in a historic building - marked on the Register of Historic Places. The High School was built in 1968.  To learn more about the School System, which includes a school library, visit:

The Town of Alberton contains a branch of the Mineral County Public Library.  Open twice a week -- Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11:30 am to 5:30 pm -- the Alberton Branch Library offers Storytimes at 11 am on Thursdays. For more information about the Alberton Library, visit:

FIRE & SHERIFF INFO

The Town of Alberton is provided fire protection service by Frenchtown Rural Fire District. The FRFD's Fire Station #8 is here in Alberton at 503 5th Street. It is staffed by Resident Firefighters. To learn more about Frenchtown Fire, visit:

The Town of Alberton has a Community Food Pantry that offers food assistance to local residents in need. The Pantry is open the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month. Food donations are always welcome.
