VOLUNTEER FIREFIGHTERS NEEDED LOCALLY !
Alberton's fire-service response provider is the Frenchtown Rural Fire District in Missoula County. The FRFD, like many rural fire districts, relies on its volunteers. AND WE NEED MORE ! This is a VERY REWARDING job. Training is provided, and you'll make life-long friends. The talented ladies who quilt are gathering monthly to gab & create! Join us from 10-4 am at the Alberton Community Church on Railroad Ave on the last Friday of the month. No children please. Potluck fun !
SCHOOL CANCELLATION NOTIFICATION PROCESS 
Alberton School policy is to notify parents by telephone before 6:30 am when school is cancelled or delayed due to weather / emergencies. If you have changed your landline or cell number recently, call the School at (406) 722-4413 to ensure that you're getting notifcations.

RECYCLING PROJECT 
BIN BACK at Feed Store
Thanks to the efforts of Albertonians, including Mayoral Candidate Loreen Green (write-in name Loreen Felstet), the Town has its Recycling Bin back at the Alberton Feed & Supply Store.
 
The Alberton Community Recycling (ARC) Project has secured enough monthly income to return the bin, but there is a $200 shortfall, so PLEASE DONATE when you get the key to the bin from the good folks in the Feed Store. Questions: Call Loreen (406) 722-3312.
